Hey guys!

Thanks for visiting the brand new IYS forum. This is really cool, and I'm still a n00b at this, so please bear with me as I get used to moderating all this stuff! Phew!!

Did anyone go to NYCC this past weekend?

If so, what was some cool stuff that you saw? Art that you got? Promo schwag that you managed to nab?

Me, I got some AMAZING artwork from 3 great people. Del Borovic, Rey Arzeno and Francisco Herrera. If you want to see the artwork they did, it's in the Fanart gallery. :D

It was so busy! I was dressed as Professor Layton Friday and Saturday so you might have seen me around with my Remi and Claire. It was a gas! We even got a photo spot on Kotaku and the Escapist. How neat!

I miss New York already. It was so chaotic but it was so much fun!

Do you plan on coming to the California CC?  If so, I am so there!  Your art style rocks, and I love the humor.  I found IYS because of the King Graham Meme.  I'm a beta tester for the new Kings Quest: The Silver Lining by Phoenix Online Studios.  I was instantly hooked and spent like 3 hours reading all 76 strips XD

I've actually wanted to, but it is SO expensive to get a table down there! Maybe not 2011, but 2012 if I get more readers and merchandise I can actually sell to pay off the table? Hehehe.

DUUUUDE you found my webcomic because of the Kings Quest thing? THAT'S AWESOME! I love the Silver Lining project, I've followed it for awhile. I love what you guys are doing, it makes me SO HAPPY. I am also making a point and click adventure game that borrows heavily from the Kings Quest games, and it's all in that sort of 2D Pixel style. Fun times!

I didn't know it takes 3 hours to read the 76 strips. Now I know! Mwahahah! ;D Sorry for the earlier strips, btw. Those are all terrible. XD

I enjoyed the whole set, and don't sell the early strips short it takes forever to develop style. Your art style is awesome!

My art style is a bit different.  I carve terrain features using recursive linear algebraic equations... Been practicing on and off for five years and now I am trying to migrate a terrain generator I created over to the Mogre C# Engine.  Makes my head hurt.  Understand all that, explain it so I can too, and Ill give you a cookie :3

Anyway, if you ever come out to Northern California, Ill be one of the first at your stand.  If you need any testing or programming for your game I would be happy to lend a hand in both.  Oh and I was thinking that "Insane Yeti Squirrel" plastered in those crazy blue letters on the back of a T-shirt would really kick ass as a new brand.  Its one of those things where people would be like wtf does that mean? Then it would catch on because the words would burn into their brains and haunt their dreams until they finally googled it to find out: Oh! Hes a lovably psychotic mascot/wannabe hand puppet. Who doesn't want one of those?

Keep up the awesomeness! Good luck with the game, and Ill be back to read the next release.
