When we last left the captain he was falling through the sky after an explosion. This could of course refer to SEVERAL separate occasions, so we will qualify it with the fact that there is a ravenous undead corpse accompanying him on this particular gravity driven expedition.

"This is happening with alarming regularity" Quipped Gladknife as the ground and its accompanying objects grew larger with mounting speed.

He glanced almost idly about before noticing the gnashing jaws and clawing fingers of his new companion. Swiping helplessly at the air as he found himself cursed with a very uncalled for type of freedom. You see Lord Chompy, as the fine Captain Bad Teddy had titled him, was not entirely without thought, it was just that his thoughts were limited, slow, and distanced terribly far apart. His thoughts were like restrooms on a long road-trip, always too far away, and never pleasant when you finally arrived to them.

Captain Gladknife glanced down, a decision which was not taken lightly to achieve as DOWN seemed to be the direction where the worst information was coming from, and saw with just enough time to react in no way what-so-ever, that he was about to impact the ship which had just moments ago exploded him from his own vessel.

He impacted the deck, the deck in turn impacted him. Which only seemed fair really. Wincing he stood up to assess the damage. His first point of interest was that his left arm now hung limp from the socket where it had greeted the ships finely handcrafted wooden planking. He seemed to be bleeding at a pace he deemed impressive from his temple. And the world had, for lack of a better term, gone a bit "woobly". The crew of the ship began their advance towards him. Blunderbusses loaded with smaller baked potato sized canines. Teeth bared in a show of dominance. The gaggle of them was grimy, slimy, smarmy and all other types of words that ended with "my" and meant not nice things.

With a wet 'plop' and a groan of indifference Lord Chompy landed behind the captain, horridly pulling himself to his feet with many pieces of the ship still embedded in his undead flesh.

Captain Gladknife narrowed his eyes and spoke. "If this works, I'm going to want someone to paint a picture of it later, because it's going to be a hard time describing it to strangers." He swung the undead gent about by the cloth that barely held to his shoulders using his one good hand, and started running towards the crew with his new companion as a spiky, angry, bitey shield.
